Notts CCC and the Royal National Institute of the Blind are working together to bring live commentary to blind cricket enthusiasts at Trent Bridge.
Volunteers from all backgrounds are required to commentate on the cricket and to help provide a distinctive and dedicated service for blind and partially sighted cricket fans at Trent Bridge on non-major match days.
The service will relay live commentary and information through specially provided radio transmitters and headsets at every Notts fixture played at Trent Bridge.
Volunteer commentators will not be paid but will receive free match day entry on their commentary day, refreshments and professional training from the RNIB.
This is a unique opportunity to gain broadcasting experience whilst providing an invaluable service to blind and partially sighted cricket lovers.
We are looking for anyone with an interest in broadcasting or a love of cricket and knowledge of the game who would be willing to volunteer their time to help deliver this fantastic new service.
